Major Pane's Life At 30

Today I clock 30. I have heard people talk about the sour taste they feel on this day. I guess its a case to case basis. I'm not comparing myself with anyone; that's why I will go ahead to tell you how I feel.

I feel fulfilled, accomplished, and ready to hit the ground running for the next phase of my life. Among the unlimited list of goals I had set for myself to achieve when I am 30, I want to highlight three.

Let Perseverance Polish Your Personality

As a full-time Project Coordinator for a Non-profit, on Wednesday, January 20th, 2021, I hosted a remarkable celebratory virtual event for resident leaders within a specific community (Markham, York Region, Canada) to showcase their achievements and enlighten the community about the issues they are addressing as well as the support they needed to sustain their initiatives. 

I had two weeks to outreach for this event on social media and within my networks. I got a total of 80 registered attendees, including representatives from my project funders (United Way), York Region Municipal, Markham's Ward 8 & 7 Councillors, stakeholders and community residents.
