3 Ways To Stay Authentic In A Crazy World
I get messages from people telling me how nice and patient I am, and they seem to wonder where I get my energy or inspiration from to stay authentic. Of course, there are days I struggle. Sometimes, I want to activate “operation mean mode” but to what end? I ask myself.
The truth is I am deeply rooted in my Christian faith which compass my actions, thoughts, behaviour. Here are three insights I want you to have for you to stay authentic in a crazy world.
What To Do When People Don't Support You
You might say your friend(s) is jealous of your business, but how about it is something else that they don't know how to engage with it. (Ever thought about that?)
They might not be your ideal customer, or they have no idea how to support you.
You will agree with me that you also have friends who you don't get to support their business, not because you don't like them but because it's not just your cup of tea.
Side note: I urge you to show interest and ask them questions. You don't want to be like Susan.
9-5 isn’t a Curse: Here is what they aren't telling you
Before you quit your job, I want you to know that 9-5 isn't modern slavery. True slavery is the inability to decide where you want to be in the future, either as an entrepreneur or a worker.
It's not everyone's purpose to become an Entrepreneur. Yes, you heard me, and this might break your heart.
Ever heard, "Many are called, few are chosen."
Using Flashback for Success
It's #throwbackthursday. That particular day we get to reminisce on old pictures and laugh them off. Sometimes, we go a little further, saying, "I remember this day," and narrate a brief context of what happened earlier before we took the picture.
How about we take a step back to the day before the picture was taken to uncover more lessons that you could use today.
Some of the experiences we are witnessing today aren't new or foreign to us. As new experiences uncover, we forget that we can build on existing experiences by expanding them through flashbacks.
